I help individuals, businesses and public sector organisations to create content that interacts with their audiences.
I’ve been developing and designing websites for nearly 10 years when a contract with the BBC to develop content online inspired me to follow the path of content creation for businesses of all shapes and sizes. I do this by helping small businesses to create a website strategy plan, generating ideas for website growth, writing compelling web copy for websites and blogs, as well as having the ability to create images and edit them.
As a professionally trained digital content producer I bring sound editorial judgement, focus and drive to creating great interactive content online. Throughout my career, I have worked with numerous micro businesses and large organisations.
As a freelancer, I’ve advised the Restricted Growth Association on the development of their website, numerous start-ups and existing small businesses ranging from Beauty and Holistic Salons, Graphic Designers and an online magazine for women within the UK.
At BBC Radio 6 Music I helped to create live session photos and content for the Lauren Laverne show that allows the audience to see the artists in the studio. I have also produced copy promotions for live BBC music concerts for artists such as Bon Jovi across social media platforms Facebook, Twitter and Flickr to encourage users to visit and interact with the website for the largest radio station in the UK, BBC Radio 2.
I’m fascinated how ideas and concepts can merge business aims with the needs of the online audience. The web has been changing the way is changing the way businesses interact and sell services and products to their customers, which at times can seem like a minefield, which is why I want to help people and businesses to get online without the headache.
